Elie Tahari has a great rags to riches story. Growing up in an Israeli orphanage, coming to New York City with less than $100, working at a boutique in Greenwich Village in the 70's where he was introduced to the world of fashion and that was just the beginning. Tahari believes that "clothing should be quieter than the woman so that her true beauty can shine". Subtle elegance with sophistication is what every garment exudes.
